Temporal and Spatial Analysis of Particulate Matter Concentrations in Iraq

چکیده
Abstract Particulate Matter (PM) is microscopic particles of solid or liquid matter suspended in the air. The term aerosol commonly refers to particulate/air mixture, as opposed particulate alone. Sources can be natural anthropogenic. They have impacts on climate and precipitation that adversely affect human health, ways additional direct inhalation. statistical methods used this study depend daily, monthly, seasonal means PM 1 , 2.5 10 with data taken from European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) year 2021 at times 00.00 am, 12.00 pm over Rutba, Mosul, Basrah, Baghdad Stations. It has been shown μm more abundant atmosphere, especially Rutba station. a large vertical movement wide area thus leads an increase temperature formation convection currents. This type storm occurs within certain layer starting surface earth about 1.52 km. These storms are severe during day decrease intensity night. long-lasting last two weeks.

Spatial Analysis and Source Identification of Particulate Matter (PM10) in Yazd City
Introduction: The aim of this study was to spatial analysis of PM10 concentrations in the ambient air of Yazd in two seasons, and the zoning by using Kriging interpolation method. Finally, different factors affecting the concentrations of PM10 are marked and standards have been investigated Material and methods: The measurement of PM10 particulates was performed by the monitoring device HAZ-...
متن کاملtemporal and spatial analysis of precipitation in iraq
this study is a step toward identifying spatial and temporal patterns of precipitation on the territory of iraq. the purpose of this analysis, the data related to the network database aphrodite a 57 -year period (2007-1951), was used. the data matrix consists of three cell location, the original data (rainfall) and the calendar matrix .surfer was drawn up. also analyzed for the first time and t...
متن کاملPractical Large - Scale Spatio - Temporal Modeling of Particulate Matter Concentrations
The last two decades have seen intense scientific and regulatory interest in the health effects of particulate matter (PM). Influential epidemiological studies that characterize chronic exposure of individuals rely on monitoring data that are sparse in space and time, so they often assign the same exposure to participants in large geographic areas and across time. We estimate monthly PM during ...
متن کاملSpatial-temporal association between fine particulate matter and daily mortality
Fine particulate matter (PM(2.5)) is a mixture of pollutants that has been linked to serious health problems, including premature mortality. Since the chemical composition of PM(2.5) varies across space and time, the association between PM(2.5) and mortality could also change with space and season. In this work we develop and implement a statistical multi-stage Bayesian framework that provides ...
متن کاملSpatial Temporal Modelling of Particulate Matter for Health Effects Studies
Epidemiological studies of the health effects of air pollution require estimation of individual exposure. It is not possible to obtain measurements at all relevant locations so it is necessary to predict at these space-time locations, either on the basis of dispersion from emission sources or by interpolating observations. This study used data obtained from a low-cost sensor network of 32 air q...
